excellent for Malbec
We first bought these glasses at the Outer Banks. We found that they enhance the flavor of full reds like Malbec or Bordeaux, and bring out all the flavors of the wine, often making a $10.00 bottle taste like a $20.00 bottle. We have even done taste tests with friends, who did not believe the same wine would taste different in a different glass. These glasses are exceptional, thin for the lips, and were well packed from this shipper. They are also made in Austria, not China, in case that is important to you. Cheers!
Great glasses!
I was in a tasting room in the Russian River Valley when I first got to use these glasses -- it was love at first sight. I already have the full line of Riedel Sommelier glasses, but these are a little less pretentious and a lot more fun for a casual occasion.
Terrific glass.
I've been a fan of Riedel glasses for 20 years. These glasses and style just adds to the tasting experience. They make a ten dollar bottle of wine taste better than you would expect.
